For days now, the Italian media has been wondering when Manchester United will place their bid for Inter Milan goalkeeper André Onana.
It was widely reported that the Red Devils and the Nerazzurri held meetings for the player, but for some reason, the Red Devils seemed to be delaying their official offer.
Now according to a report from Sky Italia, relayed by Inter News, there’s a reason why Manchester United are not making a quick effort for the signing.
It’s claimed that the Red Devils are only willing to offer €40m for the transfer. And it’s well known that Inter Milan won’t accept that.
The report says the Nerazzurri will ‘certainly refuse’ that amount, as they want €60m for the sale.
The outlet wonders whether Inter Milan will give in and settle for a ‘meeting point’ with Manchester United, which would be a €50m price.
It sounds like the Red Devils have been thinking about those numbers for days, as they don’t sound very sure about spending so big on Onana.
Earlier today, we saw comments in the Italian media saying how overpriced the goalkeeper may be.
