At the start of this week, Il Tempo stated Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are ‘ready’ to sign Sergej Milinković-Savić in the summer. It was also explained Lazio are ready to let their star leave, if they are to receive an offer of at least €70m.

Two days ago, Juve Dipendenza reported that Juventus are in the mix, but the Red Devils are ‘favourites’ in the race to sign the midfielder.

Ralf Rangnick is currently interim manager at Old Trafford and his role lasts until the end of this season. The Premier League side are in the process of appointing a new permanent coach. Ajax’s Erik ten Hag and PSG’s Mauricio Pochettino are leading the race for the job.

Tutto Juve state Manchester United are ‘very interested’ in securing the Serbia international’s services in the next window.

The Manchester club want to ‘rebuild their midfield’, to offer their new manager. as ‘many variants as possible’. This is where Milinković-Savić fits in and the report suggests he ‘would be the right reinforcement’ for United.

In order to acquire the midfielder’s signature, it’s claimed Manchester United could approach Lazio’s high request of €70m for the player. This figure, however, is ‘unattainable’ for Juventus.
