Manchester United are today making new moves for the signing of André Onana from Inter Milan, according to reports from the Italian media.
Sport Mediaset, relayed by FC Inter News, claim the goalkeeper is now even closer to a move to Old Trafford.
Their report claims that Manchester United held a Monday morning meeting with Onana’s agents to decide the final contract details.
In that conversation, the Red Devils put on the table a salary worth nearly €7m, with bonuses included, on a five-year contract.
That seems to be more than enough, with the story claiming Onana’s chance to join Manchester United this summer now becomes ‘even more tempting’.
Now it’s time for the Premier League side to finalise negotiations with Inter Milan. Therefore, a ‘formal offer’ is expected to be made this afternoon, and should get close to the €60m requested by the Nerazzurri.
The stories about Onana’s move to Manchester United are always surrounded by optimism, and this is no different. Now it seems it all depends on Inter Milan accepting this new bid from the Red Devils.
