Manchester United have set their sights on Fenerbahçe’s Ferdi Kadıoğlu, according to a report from Turkey.
The Turkey international impressed for the club last season and also for his country at Euro 2024, where he played every minute in four matches.
Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, relayed by Milliyet, claims Manchester United are interested in the left-back and have included him in their target list for this summer.
Sabuncuoğlu claims the Red Devils are expected to have a meeting with the 24-year-old’s agent in the ‘coming days’ to find out if he’s open to joining them.
If Kadıoğlu shows willingness, the journalist adds Erik ten Hag’s side will meet the Yellow Canaries to try to sign him. There should be more updates after Manchester United’s meeting with his representatives.
The fullback has two years left on his deal and Transfermarkt values him at €21m. It may not be enough for Manchester United or another club to sign him in this window.
On July 2nd, Milat Gazetesi reported Fenerbahçe have requested €35m to part ways with Kadıoğlu.
As well as the Turkey international, claims from Spain have stated Manchester United are keeping an eye on Girona’s Miguel Gutiérrez.
