Napoli have increased their offer for Alejandro Garnacho to €55m, but Manchester United want €70m for him.
That’s according to Tuttosport, who provide the latest on the transfer today, via Area Napoli. They report that Napoli refuse to give up on the Argentine.
According to their information, Napoli are refusing to fall at the first hurdle when it comes to Garnacho.
They already have a verbal agreement in place with the winger on a five-year deal. That would be worth €3m a year net.
With that in their pocket, they’re pushing to strike a deal with Manchester United. The latest offer sent to Old Trafford is worth €55m. This includes bonuses.
Manchester United are not interested in that, though. They ‘remain firm’ and are sticking with their initial request of €70m for Garnacho.
Whether Napoli would be willing to go that high, remains to be seen. A report yesterday stated they actually value Garnacho at €35m and would never negotiate for €70m. It seems Manchester United are standing firm on that price point, though.
They, of course, know Napoli have the move from selling Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and have no reason whatsoever to lower their demands.
