Manchester United and AC Milan are in the picture to sign Nottingham Forest’s Danilo this summer, according to TNT Sports in Brazil.
The defensive midfielder’s displays for Nottingham Forest have seen Manchester United and the Serie A side show interest in him.
This information is shared by TNT Spors journalist Rodrigo Fragoso, and he claims both Manchester United and Milan have enquired about the 23-year-old.
He hasn’t specified if the Red Devils and Milan have contacted Nottingham Forest, Danilo’s camp or both.
The Reds took the Brazilian from Palmeiras in January 2023 and offered him a deal until 2029. It’s claimed Nuno Espírito Santo’s are ‘not opposed’ to selling him in this window, as long as they receive an offer of at least €40m.
TNT Sports make no mention of whether Manchester United or the Rossoneri have an intention to meet Nottingham Forest’s request to sign Danilo.
UOL say the Italian club have asked about the conditions needed to take the player away from Nottingham Forest, but there’s no mention of Manchester United. They further add Milan haven’t made an offer for the South American so far.
Danilo made 34 appearances for the Premier League side last season.
