Manchester City and Chelsea have been linked with a move for Torino’s Vanja Milinkovic-Savic in the past few weeks. It now seems as if Manchester United are also interested in the goalkeeper.

The 28-year-old has arguably been the best goalkeeper in Serie A this season and it has been previously stated that he has a release clause of €20m, which will be valid until the end of July.

La Stampa, as relayed by CuoreToro, have reported today that Manchester United are interested in bringing Milinkovic-Savic back to Old Trafford.

They note that the goalkeeper spent a year and a half in the Red Devils’ youth academy between 2014 and 2016. His time was derailed due to work permit issues but a return to Manchester United will be a ‘turning point’ of his career.

As of now, Torino owner Urbano Cairo wants a fee of €20m to sell the star player and that piece of information also aligns with the fact his release clause also stands at €20m until July.

Manchester United are said to value the Serbia international at €12m right now, with Milinkovic-Savic’s current contract running out in the summer of 2026, but the Italian side have the option to extend it by another year.
