Manchester United’s fresh pursuit for João Cancelo is now being reported by the Spanish press.

Catalan outlet Sport has a story today saying the Red Devils have ‘decided’ to try to sign the right-back once again, making him a big target for the next summer market.

The Premier League side would be looking for a player who can replace Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young, since they’re both 33 and shouldn’t stay at the club for much longer.

Sport claims that Manchester United already tried to sign the player last year, with José Mourinho in charge. However, he ended up moving to Juventus in a €40m deal.

The fee paid by the Old Lady would be a good reason why the club won’t let Cancelo leave so easily. Sport doesn’t say how much Juve would demand, as they only state that Manchester United are really interested in signing him.
