Manchester United are ‘increasingly insistent’ on a deal for Juventus defender Gleison Bremer, and that could cause problems for Aston Villa.

That’s according to journalist Rudy Galetti, who says there is no doubt that Mario Hermoso will leave Atletico Madrid on a free and that’s lured in Juventus for life after Bremer.

They increasingly believe that they are going to lose Bremer in the summer, with Manchester United continuing to be linked with a move and ‘becoming increasingly insistent’ on sealing a deal.

That would leave a hole for Juventus to fill, and Hermoso could do so, and be an even more attractive option given he’d be available on a free transfer.

That’s a problem for Aston Villa, who have been targeting Hermoso for weeks but could now face competition from Juventus, while Inter Milan are also in the mix.

So, to be clear, the belief is that Manchester United could sign Bremer at some point and this will prompt Juventus to sign Hermoso and push Aston Villa out of the picture.

It’s a big old transfer merry go round that’s all predicated on Manchester United stumping up the cash for Bremer first to kick things off, but it’s a possibility according to Galetti.
