Manchester United get a mention in another report from AS, where the 22-year-old talked about his future and ‘does not guarantee that he will continue’ with the Ligue 1 side next season.
“I have a contract with Monaco until 2024, with an option until 2025, we’ll see what the future holds,” AS quoted him as saying.
“In the transfer windows, many things can happen. There is my case and that of other players, some at the end of their contracts, others who they have interest in other places. We are focused on Lille.
Real Madrid are interested in the midfielder, and he and his agent are giving priority to joining Los Blancos. With this, the La Liga side ‘accelerated talks’ with Monaco to sign the France international.
Monaco have slapped a €70m valuation on their star and this figure is a ‘problem’ for Carlo Ancelotti’s side. It is ‘essential’ for Real Madrid to lower the asking price by ‘more than €10m’.
AS then go on to talk about Manchester United. It’s said the Red Devils have a ‘player with a profile’ of Tchouaméni ‘among their main objectives’.
Real Madrid have held talks with Monaco, but they are not alone as there are other clubs ‘interested’ in the Frenchman, like Manchester United.
