In June, TuttoJuve reported on the possibility of a swap deal involving Manchester United and Juventus for Jadon Sancho and Dusan Vlahovic.
The Turin newspaper were confident that it was the Red Devils who had offered this deal and talks were ongoing. Nothing materialised on that front but TuttoSport report today that intermediaries around Vlahovic have offered the player to Manchester United.
Vlahovic is looking for a new club and has refused to sign a fresh deal at Juve, with his current contract set to expire in the summer of 2026.
The newspaper report Manchester United’s response to the offer has been a firm ‘no’ as they see Benjamin Sesko as their priority target. However, 25-year-old Vlahovic can become a ‘last-minute gamble’ for Ruben Amorim’s side if they fail to land a striker before the end of the transfer window.
Until then, the striker’s representatives will continue to look for potential suitors, with the player keen on finding a club which can meet his financial demands and sporting ambitions.
AC Milan are the only club to have expressed any interest and time will tell if Manchester United can become a major option in the next few weeks.
