As we’ve been pointing out this week, Juventus’ exit from the Champions League in the round-of-16 means we’ll have many stories on the future of Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.

To confirm that, Turin newspaper Tuttosport now launched their ‘Ronaldometro’, where they set the percentage of chances for each destination the Portuguese star could have.

Today they analyse the odds of him staying at Juventus, or going to other clubs such as Manchester United, Paris Saint Germain, Real Madrid or Sporting.

The newspaper claims there’s a 75% chance the player will stay with the Italian giants, and only 25% he’d leave them for any of the clubs mentioned.

The reason for this advantage is said to be the tax laws in Italy, which allow Juventus to pay much less than the other clubs would need to, in case Cristiano Ronaldo continues making €31m net per season.

They mention there’s even a chance PSG could get a 50% discount on French taxes, according to local laws. But that wouldn’t be possible in England, Germany or Spain.

Tuttosport mentions the investment has been worth it for Juventus so far, because besides the many goals scored by Ronaldo, there’s also been a big rise in the income from sponsorships and advertisings.

Just yesterday, the newspaper had also been naming potential destinations for Ronaldo, and claimed the most likely operation would be a swap with Manchester United between him and Paul Pogba.
