Roma are yet to show an interest in Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek, despite him being offered again this summer.
That’s according to Calciomercato, who say that the midfielder ‘offers himself again’ to the Serie A side after doing so in the last two windows as well.
The website explains that Roma are active on the market at this moment in time, hinting for bargains and potential free agents to bolster Jose Mourinho’s squad.
It’s not the first time he’s been proposed to those in charge at Rome, with the last two seasons seeing him offered but Roma always giving the same answer ‘no thanks’.
That remains Tiago Pinto’s stance for the time being and he ‘does not seem interested’ in signing the Dutchman, although that could change given how things develop this summer.
Should that happen and he become interested in a deal then he would ‘move forward’ in negotiations with Manchester United and the player for a ‘pre-arranged formula’ on the basis of a loan deal.
That, though, would be done ‘with little hope’ according to the website, who seem to believe that United would prefer to get rid of Van de Beek on a permanent basis instead.
