Manchester United are the latest club to join the race for Fluminense midfielder André, according to a claim from Brazil.
The Red Devils interest had initially been reported by Football Transfers, and now it’s time for outlet Premier League Brasil to back up the approach.
The story claims the chase for André ‘exploded’ since the Copa Libertadores final, and Manchester United are just one of the many clubs who are keen.
Following reports claiming Arsenal, Fulham and Liverpool are all interested in the player, PL Brasil claims there’s at least another unnamed ‘English giant’ who want him.
Fluminense are said to be watching the situation and decided that whoever pays the most, will take him. For now, there are no offers on the table.
Fluminense are said to be demanding at least €35m for the transfer, but with such a big competition, we wouldn’t be surprised to see this amount go higher, especially with Manchester United now named.
