Juventus and AC Milan are expected to battle for Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee in January.

That’s according to Tutto Juve, who cover the forward’s situation and the Serie A duo’s interest. The Netherlands international spent two years at Bologna and left them for Manchester United in July 2024.

He managed seven goals and three assists from 49 matches in his debut season at Old Trafford. Zirkzee has failed to score or register an assist from 82 minutes this season, which is no criticism.

Despite the 24-year-old’s difficult situation at Manchester United, Tutto Juve say he’s ‘still highly sought-after’ in Italy. Juventus and AC Milan are his suitors.

The Serie A duo are looking to strengthen their attack in the winter market and Zirkzee is seen as an attractive option.

It’s claimed the player’s exit is ‘increasingly likely’ in the next window, because of Amorim’s decision to not utilise him regularly. Juventus and Milan are closely monitoring his situation, and Como are also interested.

Tutto Juve report the Turin club could propose a swap deal involving Dušan Vlahović.

The 25-year-old’s contract expires at the end of the season. Zirkzee’s contract lasts until 2029, with an option for another year. Therefore, Juve may have to offer money plus the Serbian to sign Zirkzee via a swap deal.
