As Marcus Thuram continues to be one of the most wanted men of the next summer, Manchester United keep lining up as one of the destinations for him.
The latest updates on the future of the Borussia Mönchengladbach forward are brought by FC Inter News, who today details the race for him.
Thuram’s contract with the Bundesliga side expires at the end of the season, and with his free exit being nearly certain, that draws the interest from many sides.
So even though Inter Milan are in ‘full swing’ in their chase, they also worry about the contacts from other clubs, including Manchester United.
The Serie A side have made an offer to the player, but his entourage are said to be stalling for the time being, ‘testing the waters’ to see if they can get a ‘more advantageous’ contract offer from the Premier League.
The Red Devils are said to be one of those who already spoke to Thuram’s agent. It’s said they’ve shown their interest, but ‘without sinking the blow’.
In addition to Manchester United, the likes of Barcelona, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Newcastle United and Bayern Munich are all in the race as well.
That’s why, according to FC Inter News, the Nerazzurri will continue to hope none of those clubs make actual moves for Thuram, as it would be very hard to compete with them.
