Claims from Chile today say that Manchester United are ‘coming in strong’ for the signing of Arturo Vidal from Barcelona.

On Directv Sports show De Futebol Se Habla Asi, reporter Herman Chanampa says the Red Devils have outbid Inter Milan in the race for the midfielder.

The reason for Manchester United’s hurry are injuries to Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba, with the reporter even taking a note to remember the Scotsman’s name.

It’s claimed that Manchester United’s relationship with Arturo Vidal’s entourage is pretty good, since these are the same representatives who worked on Alexis Sanchez’s arrival and departure from the Old Trafford side.

Chanampa claims that Vidal has three options on the table now: staying at Barcelona, going to Manchester United or to Inter Milan. But all those on the TV show sounded pretty excited with the Red Devils’ alleged interest, making clear it would be a big move for the 32-year-old.
