This Wednesday, we covered a story from La Repubblica which said Milan would not be interested in Isco or Cesc Fabregas because these players are not in the level the club are aspiring to.
And Calcio Mercato’s information from today is that the Real Madrid star may not be good enough for the Italian side, but it doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be a target for Juventus or even Manchester United.
The website claims that Isco has a market value of around €30m and is featuring in these two club’s wanted lists, and the Old Lady has been following him for a long time.
Milan, on the other hand, are looking for something else. They reportedly want to spend more money on a bigger star, and ruling out the midfielder’s name has come as a surprise for the Italian media.
Whilst Manchester Untied are linked with just about every big name and Isco interest comes with a huge pinch of salt, the real eyebrow raising thing here is Milan’s apparent ambition.
There’s no harm in aiming high but Milan would be very lucky to have either Isco or Fabregas and right now both would likely turn them down.
