Manchester United youngster Anthony Elanga is now a target for PSV, according to claims from the Dutch media.
Journalist Rik Elfrink writes that the winger is ‘one of the options’ the Eindhoven side have to strengthen their squad for this final part of the season.
PSV are said to be ‘working hard’ to reinforce their attack in the January window, and the Manchester United player is a name on their list.
The effort made by the Eredivisie giants for new signings was today confirmed by manager Ruud van Nistelrooy in a press conference.
“Of course I can’t name names, but we are working hard on it, because it is necessary.”
When covering his quotes, outlet Voetbal International also points out that Elanga is one of PSV’s targets, since he’s been of little use for Erik ten Hag at Manchester United. He has 19 appearances for the Red Devils this season so far, but with only 609 minutes played.
Besides being interested in a Manchester United player and having a former Red Devils star in charge, PSV are also said to be chasing another former player from the club. That’s Adnan Januzaj, who could leave Sevilla after just a few months at the club.
