Two days ago, Calciomercato.it reported that Manchester United will watch Hakim Ziyech, Matthijs de Ligt, Frenkie de Jong, David Neres, Donny van de Beek and Noussair Mazraoui during Ajax’s Champions League clash against Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

If a report from another Italian outlet Tutto Mercato Web is to be believed, it looks like the scouts of the 20-time English champions were also in attendance at Stade de Suisse to watch Young Boys’ home tie against Juventus.

It’s claimed that United were watching ‘some Juventus players’, including Paulo Dybala.

The Argentine came off the bench to help his side score a goal in the 80th minute as he smashed the ball into the net from outside the box.

Except Dybala, TMW doesn’t mention the names of other players of Turin club, watched by United in the defeat to Young Boys.

It seems a bit odd because United faced Juventus twice in the group stages and they could have watched their players in action during these two matches.

The majority of the players who faced Jose Mourinho’s side were in action against the Swiss side.
