Youssef En-Nesyri was linked with a move to the Premier League throughout much of his time with Sevilla. West Ham United were the side linked most, with the player reportedly rejecting the Hammers on at least one occasion.
With Sevilla needing to sell, he eventually moved to Fenerbahçe in July of last year. The Turkish club paid just under €20m and that has certainly proven worth it so far.
The 27-year-old has scored 23 goals and added four assists in 35 matches so far this season. That’s caught the attention of Manchester United and Arsenal, according to a report from Tuesday’s edition of Sabah.
Manchester United and Arsenal are said to be following he forward ahead of the summer window, and it’s explained Sevilla fans are increasingly voicing concerns over selling him in the first place.
They haven’t managed to find a worthy replacement and the gap shows, with it being especially frustrating as En-Nesyri repeatedly finds the back of the net.
He’s scored 12 goals across his past eight Super Lig matches, and whilst he may not be a blockbuster signing for Manchester United or Arsenal he’s clearly a player who could likely do a job for either club.
Fenerbahçe would of course have quite a big say here.
