Manchester United are ‘already negotiating’ with youngster Alejandro Garnacho over a new deal at Old Trafford.
That’s according to AS, who say the Reds want to ‘tie down their new jewel’ to a new contract as soon as possible.
18-year-old Garnacho has been enjoying more prominence at Manchester United in recent weeks, starring in the Europa League and scoring the winner against Real Sociedad last night.
He is very much ‘the boy in fashion’ and negotiations over an extension to his current deal, which expires in 2023, began a fortnight ago.
Manchester United consider Garnacho are ‘one of the great sensations’ at the club, particularly with the youngster impressing of late.
According to AS, he ‘prioritises playing’ time above all else, something he has now been receiving and United want to take advantage of the situation.
They’re already holding talks to extend his stay at the club, where he has been since moving from Atlético Madrid’s youth set up in October 2020 and tie down a player they have very high hopes for.
To date, he has five appearances for the club’s first-team this season, scoring one goal.
