Earlier this month, we covered a story from L’Impartial in France that Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal were all after a young defender called Tom Cadoche.
The 15-year-old, who currently plays for Le Havre’s U17s, has attracted a lot of attention, including from Real Madrid, but, for the time being, he will be remaining in France.
That is, at least, until later on this season when a choice will need to be made about his future.
France Bleu claim the La Liga side, Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal are all ‘closely interested’ in the young defender, and a ‘decision on his next club should be announced come the end of the year’.
We’re guessing that means the end of calendar year, suggesting said news should come out soon, but there’s no indication whether there’s a real chance of him ending up at Old Trafford, the Etihad or the Emirates.
We’ll have to wait and see on that front, but we all know Premier League sides, like the aforementioned trio, are all big on recruiting talent at a younger age these days, and where better to do so than France, where plenty of promising players are looking to make a name for themselves?
