AC Milan are reportedly interested in the Manchester City midfielder Fernando.
According to Tuttosport, the 29-year-old has been wanted by the Italian club since his time at FC Porto, when Milan ended up losing the battle to City.
A collection of clubs were interested in Fernando at the time, but Porto were impressed with the way Manchester City went about things, and so was the player.
Now he’s considered to be a realistic target, and AC Milan would be confident since they don’t think he’s going to be a starter going forward for Pep Gaurdiola’s side.
Tuttosport claims Fernando would accept a pay-cut to join the Italian side, and the talks could happen in the next few days.
Fernando joined Manchester City from Porto in 2014 for €15m. He has 76 appearances for the club, and his contract expires in 2019.
