Two years after signing Bursaspor forward Enes Unal, Manchester City could be set to buy another youngster from Turkey as the Premier League side prepare a bid for Altınordu FK goalkeeper Berke Ozer.
Manchester City are believed to have started negotiations with Altınordu with regards to signing the young keeper as they prepare to line up an offer. Like Unal it’s likely Ozer would be sent out on loan by Pep Guardiola to get further experience, if he did arrive at the Etihad.
Many scouts based in Turkey see Ozer as a ‘Turkish Donnarumma’, and if Manchester City want to sign him he won’t come on the cheap.
Ozer is an impressive goalkeeper for his age, and he even made the bench for last week’s game against Manisaspor despite his tender years.
The youngster is seen as one of the best players Altınordu currently have in their academy, and he’s been key in their run in this season’s UEFA Youth League.
