Portuguese TV channel Eleven Sports continues to release little bits of their exclusive interview with Manchester City star Bernardo Silva.

Last week, we had already covered the first teaser, in which the midfielder spoke of his wish to return to Benfica one day.

The quotes came out with a little controversy, with Bernardo Silva being accused of teasing over an exit from Manchester City just after the club were banned from the next two editions of Champions League.

The player later made it clear the interview was made before the ban. And in a bit released by Eleven Sports now, he was just talking about how important a Champions League title would be for the club (via A Bola).

“The president, the club owner, the CEO, all want to win the Champions League. Pep has already won it and wants to win again with Manchester City. But there are many clubs that think the same way as we do and it isn’t easy, it’s the most difficult competition to win. We obviously have a responsibility to do better than what we’ve done in the last few years.”

Bernardo Silva has also talked a little about Pep Guardiola, claiming he’s a manager he can learn with in every training session.

“I learned a lot from all the coaches that I had, but without a doubt that Pep is special and different in the way he approaches the game and also due to training in the small details. It’s a pleasure for me to learn from him every day.”

There’s no suggestion from the Manchester City player about a possible exit from the club in the coming months.
