Marca Claudio Bravo August 16thSpanish newspaper Marca unsurprisingly have their own take on Claudio Bravo moving to Manchester City. Whereas the Catalan press will want to have the transfer fee seen as high as possible, Marca are more Madrid leaning and likely to go the other way.

The newspaper’s Tuesday edition doesn’t disappoint, and it’s claimed that instead of the €25m figure being reported by the Catalan media, Manchester City will actually be paying a much lower base price for Bravo.

Barcelona are said to have agreed to receive €16m from the Premier League club, and whilst Marca say another €4m may be available through future bonuses, it’s a lot less than other reports.

Whereas the Catalan media believe Bravo could travel to Manchester on Thursday, after Barcelona’s Wednesday match against Sevilla, Marca believe the trip could be later.

Marc-Andre Ter Stegen is injured, and it’s stated Barcelona would probably like to keep Bravo until after the Betis match on Saturday. Barcelona then play Athletic Club Bilbao on August 28th.
