Kamil Jóźwiak has been a regular figure in Derby County’s starting lineup since swapping Lech Poznań for the Championship side last summer.
The 22-year-old can operate on either side in the wide positions, and has a goal and two assists to his name from 18 league matches.
His performances for the Rams have the caught attention of Manchester City scout Jakub Bokiej, reports Meczyki.
The latter left Leeds United to join the Citizens in 2016 and at 20 years of age, Bokiej is the youngest scout at City.
According to the report, scouts often look for four different characteristics in a player. They are technique, tactics, mental strength and physicality. Bokiej is of the belief all these ‘aspects are at a good level’ for the Derby County player.
Meczyki state the Poland international ‘looks weak at the first glance’, but he has shown, both in the Championship and with the national team, that he can stay on his feet when coming in contact with opposition players.
The website has also gathered comments made by the Manchester City scout, who explained Jóźwiak is high on the list of players he monitors.
“Kamil has a really great potential, he is high on my private list of players that I watch. If I were to throw out an idea, if he is healthy, he will be in the Premier League in 18 months,” Bokiej said.
