Two days ago, TuttoMercatoWeb explained Manchester City have gathered positive reports about Nicolò Rovella after their scouts closely followed him in action for Monza this term.
The 20-year-old is on loan at the Serie A side from Juventus and the idea is for him to return to his parent club after this campaign. His deal with the Old Lady expires in 2026.
TMW’s claim that the midfielder should return to the Turin club is echoed by Tutto Juve. They further warn Juventus that they have to be careful ‘not to give in to the pressure’ of Manchester City.
It’s claimed Manchester City would be ‘ready to draw a maxi offer’ to secure the player’s services, but there is no mention of what fee the Premier League winners could offer to Juventus.
Operating as a defensive midfielder, Rovella has made 14 appearances in all competitions for Monza this season. Reports around his future are likely to increase should he continue to shine for the Italian club for the remainder of this campaign.
