BeinSportsTr have reported Manchester City officials will travel to Istanbul for talks with Medipol Basaksehir starlet Cengiz Under.
Premier League sides have been showing interest in Under after he impressed for his club last season, but Manchester City are the club looking to make a move for the player by sending officials to Istanbul today for discussions.
It’s been reported in the Turkish press that Basaksehir are demanding €10m for the Altınordu academy product, which shouldn’t be an issue for Manchester City. The Premier League side are no stranger to the Turkish market after they have signed Enes Unal from Bursaspor in 2014.
Tottenham have also been strongly linked with Under, following claims the Premier League side had put in a bid for the attacker, but this was denied by his club.
It was also reported recently in Turkey that Basaksehir were expecting an offer to come in from Tottenham this summer, but it seems Manchester City are looking to get ahead of the competition.
