Omar Marmoush will have his medical with Manchester City on Monday ahead of a €75m transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt.
That’s according to journalist Florian Plettenberg, who reports that a medical for the striker is booked in for Monday.
He states that Eintracht ‘remain firm’ that the ‘clear agreement’ with Manchester City will see the Premier League champions pay €75m up front. They will then pay a further €5m in bonuses to take the deal to €80m.
The German side appear to have won out in negotiations with Pep Guardiola’s side. They had long stated €80m was their asking price for their star man. They now appear set to receive that eventually.
Marmoush has had a contract agreement in place with Manchester City for some time. Indeed, it was reported yesterday that he is set for a 700% wage increase at the Etihad. He will reportedly earn around €10m net from the deal.
With that agreement in place, a deal also agreed between the clubs and a medical booked for Monday, it now seems his arrival at Manchester City is a matter of when not if.
