Manchester City are keen to keep hold of Kyle Walker this summer, but he is continuing to talk to Thomas Tuchel about a potential move to Bayern Munich.
That’s according to SportBILD, who say the German champions are hoping the ‘persuasiveness’ of their manager can help them sign the full-back this summer.
The magazine explains that Bayern have gone hard backing Tuchel in this window, securing Kim min-Jae from Napoli and working on a deal for Harry Kane.
Both of those players are requests from their manager, and they are also pushing for a third player that he has on his list, Manchester City’s Kyle Walker.
They are relying on the persuasiveness of their coach in that regard, with Tuchel already ‘in contact’ with the full-back about a potential move.
He has managed to convince Walker of a move and he is ‘ready to step into the Bundesliga’, but Manchester City are keen to keep hold of him as they look to defend their treble next season.
Thus, a deal will have to be worked out between the two parties, particularly if Tuchel can convince Walker that he wants the move and out of the Etihad this summer.
That is something Bayern are seemingly hoping he can do as they look to make Walker the third requested signing for Tuchel.
