Trabzon based 61saat.com have reported Manchester City forward Wilfried Bony is set to reject a move to Trabzonspor, because he’s made it clear he doesn’t want to play in Turkey at this stage of his career.
Karadeniz Firtinasi are in the market for a forward this summer as their manager Ersun Yanal is unhappy with the form of Hugo Rodallega and Dame N’Doye last season.
Bony didn’t enjoy the best of loan spells when he was at Stoke City, and it seems the striker doesn’t have a future at the Etihad. The Turkish side were looking to take advantage of the situation, but despite talks with Bony they’ve been unable to convince the Manchester City player.
During talks the Manchester City outcast reportedly said he isn’t willing to move to Turkey at this stage of his career.
