Following the signing of Julian Alvarez from River Plate, it now seems that Manchester City could now look for more targets in Buenos Aires.
According to a report from Bola Vip, there’s now an interest in players from the other giant club in the city, which is Boca Juniors.
The outlet claims that officials from the City Group have ‘asked for a meeting’ with the Xeneize executives to talk about some potential moves.
It’s said they’ve been watching Exequiel Zeballos and Valentin Barco, two young talents from the club, and now ‘want to put them in Pep Guardiola’s project at Manchester City’.
According to Bola Vip, the City Group have been watching those players for between six months and a year, and those names at Boca Juniors fill the requirements to become actual targets.
It’s said there’s been no formal meeting or offers yet, but Boca Juniors knew that sooner or later there’d be the approach from European clubs, and it sounds like Manchester City were the first to move.
