Manchester City youngster Kayky is likely to have his loan deal at Sparta Rotterdam brought to an end this month.
That’s according to Voetbal International, who say he is on the way towards the exit at Sparta, who have been left disappointed by him.
The newspaper reports that technical director Gerard Nijkamp had thought he was loaning a Champions League level player from Manchester City with Kayky.
And in the minutes he’s had on the pitch, the player has shown promise. However, after six months that have been full of injuries, Manchester City want to find a new club for him.
VI report that the Brazilian is likely to follow in the footsteps of his best friend Metinho. His loan deal at the same club was ‘torn apart’ in the past and he was then sent to FC Basel.
A similar scenario is on the card for Kayky. The 21-year-old has only managed 155 minutes for the Rotterdammers this season. They want to strengthen their options with a winger before the window closes and if they do, Kayky is likely to be sent on his way.
He’ll need to find a suitable club where he can play regularly, if he is fit, in an attempt to get his career back on track.
Manchester City are keen for that to happen, and he’ll be a name to keep an eye on, with the Sparta loan deal proving to be a complete disaster for everyone.
