Manchester City have less until 7pm to sign Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

On Sunday, claims from Italy and France reported that yesterday was crucial to close the deal for the 26-year-old, who has agreed personal terms with the Citizens.

RMC Sport now report negotiations between Manchester City and PSG are accelerating for the Italy international.

PSG want to get rid of the stopper before the window closes later today as he’s not part of Luis Enrique’s plans. The two parties have publicly talked about wanting to part ways, but he’s yet to find a new club.

According to RMC Sport, things could change in the next few hours as Manchester City’s negotiations with the Ligue 1 winners have ‘entered a decisive phase’.

Journalist Orazio Accomando took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report the latest on Ederson and Donnarumma.

He claims Manchester City have reached an agreement with Fenerbahçe to sell Ederson for €13m plus €2m bonuses. The two clubs are sorting out the final details and the 32-year-old is set to travel to Turkey today.

Accomando explains Manchester City will then try to close the deal to sign the former AC Milan man.
