Everton’s Richarlison netted a hat-trick in Brazil’s 4-2 win over Germany in the first group stage fixture of the Olympic Games.

The 24-year-old was also part of his country’s squad that lost to Argentina in the Copa América final earlier this month.

Having played under Carlo Ancelotti last season, the forward managed 13 goals across all competitions, with seven of those in the Premier League.

Ancelotti left the Toffees for Real Madrid last month and knowing the player first hand, the manager ‘yearns’ to sign Richarlison for the La Liga side.

That’s what ABC are reporting, but they add any potential operation this summer ‘seems unlikely’ because of the fee demanded by the Merseyside club.

It’s claimed Rafael Benítez’s side will ask for €50m to allow the South American leave, but the Spanish giants are ‘not willing to pay’ that fee for the attacker.

Despite the former Chelsea manager looking forward to signing Richarlison, Real Madrid’s financial constraints makes it difficult for them to fulfil Ancelotti’s wish.
