AC Milan manager Vincenzo Montella has labelled his new signing Gerard Deulofeu a loose cannon. The Spaniard recently joined the Serie A side on loan from Everton.
TMW have reported on comments made today by Montella during his press conference . Montella said Deulofeu is in good shape and can make an impact for Ac Milan. The AC Milan boss said the Everton loanee is a loose cannon, but he likes this in the player.
“He is fine physically, he wants to play. He’s still a loose cannon but I like that. He has his possibilities, he is a good impact player who at the moment can satisfy us,” said the AC Milan coach.
Deulofeu was signed by former Everton manager Roberto Martinez from Barcelona in 2015, but under current boss Ronald Koeman the 22-year-old has struggled to get playing time. The winger made just eleven Premier League appearances for Everton this season, which were mainly coming off the bench.
Deulofeu will loaned out to AC Milan until the end of the season, and he’s in line to make his Serie A debut tomorrow when Montella’s side take on Udinese.
