Leeds United’s Crysencio Summerville has emerged as a transfer target for Feyenoord.
The Eredivisie winners sold the winger to the Whites in 2020 and are hoping to take him back this summer.
That’s according to 1908.nl, who state Arne Slot hopes to bolster his side’s attack by adding the Leeds player to his squad next season.
The 21-year-old was spotted in his hometown, Rotterdam, and didn’t ‘say a direct no’ to his former club.
It’s said the Feyenoord coach was recently on a call with the Netherlands U21 international for ‘more than an hour’. Slot was trying to convince the Leeds United man to return to Feyenoord in the next window.
As it stands, Feyenoord haven’t opened formal talks with Leeds, and the report adds Feyenoord is seen as a ‘more interesting’ option than PSV Eindhoven but not the ‘very best option’.
Last week, FC Update reported PSV Eindhoven, RB Leipzig and Aston Villa are chasing the player and this is also backed up by 1908.nl.
Clubs will be hoping to get a bargain deal following Leeds United’s relegation from the Premier League.
