Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton & Hove Albion are all keeping tabs on Sassuolo’s Davide Frattesi.
After managing four goals and four assists in the league last season, the midfielder has scored four goals from 15 matches this term. His performances have been observed by the Premier League trio.
According to Il Resto del Carlino, Manchester United, Tottenham and Brighton have their scouts monitoring the 23-year-old.
It’s explained that several English clubs have been watching the Italy international from the start of this season. The Red Devils were the first to send an official to ‘follow the midfielder live’.
Erik ten Hag’s side were then joined by Spurs and the Seagulls. Both the north London club and Brighton would have instructed their scouts to take a look at the player.
Sassuolo tied down Frattesi to a new contract earlier this year and his current deal expires in 2026. Il Resto del Carlino add the Italian club would negotiate his sale for €30m and ‘not for less’ than that figure.
For now, Manchester United, Tottenham and Roberto De Zerbi’s side have all sent their scouts to follow Frattesi. It remains to be seen whether one of the three English clubs will come forward to sign him, either in January or next summer.
