Over the past few days, multiple reports have covered Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig interest in Erling Braut Haaland.
According to Bild, Leipzig are willing to offer the Red Bull Salzburg star a salary of €5m per season, but the striker is demanding €8m per year. The Bundesliga side are unwilling to meet his demands.
The German newspaper also adds the Red Devils and Juventus are keen on signing him.
Austrian newspaper Salzburger Nachrichten once again mentions interest from Manchester United and the two German clubs in the 19-year-old.
It’s claimed the Norway international has personally spoken to all three clubs about a potential transfer and the belief at Salzburg is that a change for Haaland is ‘emerging in the near future’.
This basically means the prolific goalscorer will leave his current employer soon and super-agent Mino Raiola, who is currently looking after Haaland, will be in charge to find a new destination for the teenager.
Another Austrian outlet, Krone, interviewed Haaland and asked him about the recent speculation around his future.
Responding to it, he said:“I try to focus primarily on my game. Of course, there are many rumours, but in the end, it’s about playing football. I try to focus on that. I try to enjoy what I like most in my job and in my life.”
Haaland was also quizzed on whether there’s a deadline set for him to make a decision on his future.
“As I said, I am not stressed about these things. So, no,”
