Marcos Rojo is going nowhere, according to reports from Portugal.
O Jogo are claiming that despite the rumours from Spain, the defender wants to stay at Old Trafford. Not even the interest from Valencia has changed his mind.
Last Wednesday Deporte Valenciano claimed that talks between Manchester United and the Spanish club were already happening, and a deal could be done for around €12m.
O Jogo mentions that Rojo can’t start as a left-back because of Luke Shaw, and Daley Blind alongside Eric Bailly are currently making up the central defensive duo. But still, the Argentine international is not on the club’s transfer list.
Exclusive reports usually go out in O Jogo’s paper edition, or when it’s an online article they make sure they say it’s their own information. That’s not the case here, although they don’t give any source to these Rojo claims.
