Manchester United youngster Amad Diallo is interested in a move to Feyenoord in the January transfer window.

That’s according to Feyenoord Transfermarkt, who say the winger is ‘convinced’ of the Dutch side’s style of play and sees ‘plenty of opportunity’ for playing time at the club.

Diallo joined Manchester United from Atalanta in January of this year and has been a part of the first-team squad this season.

The plan had been to loan him out on the summer, and Feyenoord were one of the clubs interested in a deal, but an injury eventually scuppered that possibility.

The Eredivisie side signed Reiss Nelson from Arsenal instead but have remained keen, with Feyenoord Transfermarkt reporting back on October 10th that Diallo was ‘once again on the radar’.

They stated that Manchester United were considering a loan deal for January, and Feyenoord would be keen.

It now seems they’ve received encouragement from the player, who has apparently done his research and is keen on the move.

Whether it happens is another matter, of course, and we have to take this with a pinch of salt given the source it’s come from.

Having said that, Feyenoord Transfermarkt are fairly reliable when it comes to rumours about the Dutch club and the initial tweet on the 10th, which this one is replying to, was an exclusive for them.

We’ll keep an eye on Diallo, then, with a loan move from Manchester United in January certainly making sense for him.
