Last week, we saw seen Uruguayan outlet Traspasos breaking the news about Manchester United’s interest in Getafe midfielder Mauro Arambarri.
Their Twitter account said the Red Devils have been following the player ‘closely’, as he’s considered to be a ‘cheap and good’ target for the club.
It didn’t take long until the European press confirmed the chase, which probably means Traspasos deserve some credit for the claims.
Now the outlet comes with a new update on the situation.
This time, they say Manchester United should make an offer for Arambarri ‘in the coming days’.
Traspasos claims to have heard ‘from England’ that Manchester United will sign this summer Jadon Sancho and an important central defender, which is where the big investments will be made.
So Arambarri ends up being a good ‘value for money’ option for the Red Devils’ midfield, which is basically what the first report had already pointed out.
Even though Traspasos had previously claimed that the transfer would cost around €30m, the figures are not mentioned this time.
Perhaps they’ll come out with an update once the bid is indeed made.
