AC Milan have ‘eyes’ on Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek, according to Milan Live.

He has been restricted to only three appearances this term, and is living ‘real misery’ at his current club. The 24-year-old’s last outing came in the Red Devils’ EFL Cup defeat against West Ham United in September.

The Netherlands international ‘wants to leave England’ in search of regular playing time. His desire to showcase his abilities is ‘really great’ and he is ‘ready to force his hand’ in the winter market.

Having invested close to €40m, it is likely Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will let the player go out on loan in January. The Dutchman has been linked with Barcelona and Juventus, but he can also be an idea for Milan.

The Rossoneri will be without Ismaël Bennacer and Franck Kessié at the start of next year as they will represent their respective countries at the African Cup of Nations. Therefore, Van de Beek can ‘represent an excellent idea’ for the Serie A side.

AC Milan took Diogo Dalot on loan from Manchester United last season and he is now back at Old Trafford. It’s said this deal has resulted in an excellent relationship between the two sides.

The report points out Dalot’s development at the San Siro and it could be a factor that would see Milan get ahead of others to take Van de Beek on loan in the next window.
