Aston Villa youngster Carney Chukwuemeka is a target for Manchester City and Manchester United, but they face competition from Borussia Dortmund for his signature.
That’s according to BILD, who say that the 17-year-old has Europe’s top clubs chasing him this summer.
The German newspaper reports that Chukwuemeka would be a ‘perfect fit’ for Dortmund, who are ‘actively monitoring’ the midfield talent.
He’s regarded as the next Jude Bellingham, who is, of course, starring for Dortmund this year after joining the German side in 2020.
Aston Villa would want around €15m if he were to move to the Bundesliga club, who have him on the ‘drawing board’ as part of their future plans.
They are not the only ones to have taken notice of him, though, with BILD stating that Dortmund are ‘not alone in the hunt’ for him.
Manchester United, Manchester City, as well as Bayern, Paris Saint Germain, and Bayern Munich are also ‘putting out feelers’ for the Aston Villa youngster.
Chukwuemeka has two years left on his deal with Aston Villa, so they are in a good negotiating position if the likes of Bayern, Manchester City or Manchester United come calling this summer.
He, though, ‘plans to make the next step’ if it is presented to him and Dortmund are keen after proving ‘they can make young Englishman big fast’ with Sancho and Bellingham.
