Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola dropped a bombshell on Monday by revealing the 27-year-old’s time at Manchester United is over, and further stressed the midfielder is unhappy and “has to change teams”.

The France international was heavily linked with Real Madrid and Juventus in the past, and those rumours have returned.

Real Madrid, for the time being, have pulled out of the race for Pogba, according to Calciomercato.it.

That’s because Florentino Pérez’s remains focused on utilising the financial resources to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappé.

The former Serie A star’s future is ‘far from defined’, but the Old Lady could ‘still be in his destiny’.

It’s explained Pogba ‘would be happy’ to return to the Turin club, ‘so much so that’ he is willing to take a pay cut. He currently earns €15m per year.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, for their part, remain ‘convinced’ they no longer need the player following the arrival of Bruno Fernandes at the start of this year. This would suggest Manchester United would be in favour of cutting ties with Pogba.

With Real Madrid not making Pogba their priority target and United no longer needing him, a return to Juventus could be possible, either for money or via an exchange deal with Paulo Dybala.

On December 7th, AS reported United are one of the clubs in touch with Dybala’s entourage.
