As it’s a day of the week that ends in a ‘y’, someone in the Italian press has written a big article about the Alvaro Morata situation, and Tuttosport on Wednesday kindly gives us our dose of repeated transfer news.

Actually we’re lying, the Italian newspaper were struggling so much to contain themselves with the lack of updates, they took it a step further and went all out by publishing 2 (TWO) articles about the Spaniard’s future.

Repeating themselves in both articles, Tuttosport give us the usual spiel about the player’s contract at Juventus, the buy-back clause for Real Madrid and the Premier League interest.

According to them, it’s down to only two English teams now (Chelsea and Manchester United), with Paris Saint-Germain and Atlético Madrid also in the chase.

As for offers for the Spaniard, you guessed it, there aren’t any, as Tuttosport manage to somehow get two pages out of this thrilling information, adding an extra four paragraphs about potential replacements who are all Belgian (we’ll let you guess who they are, but Origi isn’t one of them).

Basically, it seems that both clubs are just taking their time over this decision.

It may comes across from this article that we’re getting bored of this story, and you’re right, it’s dragging on a bit, but we’re expecting it to go on for a while longer and need to vent from time to time.

We’re only covering it because otherwise someone else will pick it up and make it sounds far more interesting than it actually is.

At least we’re honest!
