Two Premier League clubs are said to be interested in Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik, but the player is expected to stay in Italy as he’s living the “happiest moment of his career”, according to his agent.
Corriere Dello Sport claim that Manchester United, Chelsea, Juventus and Milan are all following the 28-year-old, whose agent Jurai Venglos says he’s meeting the Napoli board soon to confirm his stay for next season.
“In the coming days I will meet with De Laurentiis and Giuntoli to understand the project for next year and hope, of course, that the meeting goes well,” revealed Venglos.
Although the rumours regarding Hamsik’s departure show up every summer, the Slovak player has been at the club for nine years now and hasn’t shown any interest to leave lately.
Corriere Dello Sport uses his quote “It’d be beautiful to end here” to reaffirm his love for the club, and a move seems very unlikely.
Hamsik scored a wonder goal for Slovakia against Russia this week, which no doubt prompted claims of interest.
