It appears we have yet another Raphaël Varane update on Thursday, this time from Mohamed Bouhafsi.

Earlier in the day, RMC Sport, in an article written by Loïc Tanzi, claimed the centre-back had given the green light to talk with the Red Devils regarding his personal terms, and it appears things are moving quickly.

According to Bouhafsi, Varane and Manchester United have ‘almost found an agreement’ regarding a contract, with talks between the parties ‘advanced’.

He explains that following the deal for Sancho, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side were keen on sorting out a transfer with the French centre-back.

Much like the previous update, it’s also stated that discussions are currently ‘open’ between Manchester United and Real Madrid for a transfer fee, but there has been ‘no offer yet’.

That will probably come once the personal terms are agreed, and the way this is panning out, it shouldn’t be too problematic.
